Maybelline Collosal Volum' Express vs Collosal Cat Eye Mascara

Maybelline The Colossal Volum' Express v Maybelline Cat Eyes Mascara
As promised, I'm going to compare these two mascaras, the original volum' express and the cat eyes version. I have done a review of the cat eyes version already so I ill focus in this post more on which is better and not go into too much detail about the cat eyes version. (the cat eyes review)
The packaging is very similar on both except the cat eyes version has orange text and a cute animal print pattern.
The formula is what is very different about these mascaras. The original is not a wet mascara so does not separate each lash as much as the cat eyes version does. Instead it makes your lashes appear very black and as if you are wearing eyeliner at your roots. The cat eyes version is much more wet and focuses on length more than volume.
The brushes are also different. The original has a large brush which is fat in the middle with lots of shorter bristles which gives a thick almost clumpy effect. The cat eyes has a very thin curved brush which unlike the original doesn't add volume at all just lots. of length.

I think if you prefer your lashes shorter but much more volumous and full then you will prefer the original but if like me you prefer really long lashes from corner to corner but not with much volume then go for the cat eyes version.
You can purchase the original here for £7.19 and the cat eyes version here for £7.99
