Review - Maybelline the Collosal Volum' Express Cat Eyes Mascara in Glam Black

Maybelline the Collosal Volume Express Mascara
in Glam Black
As a big fan of Maybelline mascaras, I was really excited to try their new cat eyes version of the normal collosal volum' express mascara which I have and love (will do a comparison of the two mascaras shortly)
The packaging of this mascara is very similar to the volum' express mascara but with an orange leopard print design on the top which is a nice touch.
The formula of this mascara is quite wet but drys quickly stopping the mascara from smudging but still allowing a nice application. This lasts I found all day when I apply it in the morning and is easy to take off at night.
The wand is also really nice. It's similar to the falsies wand but the bristles are smaller which allows you to get to the smaller more awkward lashes.
This picture from fleurdeforce's review gives you a good idea of the effect of the mascara
The effect of this mascara is it defines your lashes giving them a curl due to the wand and makes each individual lash stand out which makes your eyes more dramatic. If your a fan of mascaras that make your lashes look very thick and a bit clumpy this wont be for you nor if you have shorter lashes but it would be good on somebody with longer lashes who likes each lash defined.
This mascara is available here for £7.99
